Janet sang the Negaraku, Malaysia's national anthem at the U.S. Independence Day celebration by US Embassy in The Mariott, Kuala Lumpur, with the visiting U.S. Seventh Fleet naval band. She also entertained the guests with some jazz standards with the band that evening.
